Voting period is over, thank you for being a part of the action… winners will be announced soon!
A fine showing for my first “tasting roome” (oops, I mean “tasting room”) experience!
It is my pleasure to redirect you away from my blog to these submissions for the blog carnival: Bringing Wine Home.
There are three categories to win in:
- People’s choice #1– vote in the poll below for your favorite. Poll is open from now through to midnight (pacific time) Friday, June 26th.
- People’s choice #2– leave a comment at the actual post and this counts as a point for the blogger: he/she who generates the most comments wins this people’s choice category. If you are unable to leave a comment on the specific post, I will count comments here as well, just let me know “who” you are commenting about!
- Andy’s choice– based on entertainment, education and tech-savvy criteria I will choose my favorite.
NOTE: This is not directly or indirectly associated with Murphy-Goode. It is an independent blog action merely inspired by the great community rallying around the really Goode job offer.
If you have not entered on time, still feel free to submit your post. I will gladly link to it! It is all about connecting with each other, deadlines can be helpful at times, however just reading from all of you has given me great pleasure over the past weeks that I would hate to miss what you have to say to my three questions!
*drum roll please*

Whoo hoo! Thanks Andy, for setting this up! Fun to see all the trackbacks from you this morning then to travel over here and see what you’ve been up to on your side of the world while I’ve been sleeping on mine.
I am surprised to see that I have three entries–I hadn’t realized that your blog carnival was actually a voting contest. (I thought you were holding voting on the actual MG job–not on these blog posts!)
Na, this *can* be a way to get more votes for the MG polls–but that depends on how you market it on your blogs…
And to be sure, I will toot your horns for you from here and from twitter this week.
I am pleasantly surprised at how this worked out. People are fascinating and what y’all do with your blogs just amazing. You all shine through with your varied answers to my boring questions: talented bloggers come up with great answers!
AReallyGoodeJob has been such a fun ride so far and I cannot imagine it coming to an end…

I heard you guys rigged the contest.. what a great idea! Piss off the internets!
Hello Anonymous,
thanks for the reply, however sorry to disappoint you. I do not work for Murphy-Goode nor do I have anything to do with any contests except the ones I run independently from my blog. (Like the one you are commenting on here.)
Pretty much anyone commenting or writing here were applicants or observers of the whole social media campaign. No one here did any rigging.
Since you do not give me your name, which is your perfect right, I am going to guess that you are a fan of Martin Sargent’s.
I am just as surprised as you that someone mustering up as many votes as the next top 3 applicants combined would not make the top 50.
However, perhaps you serve Martin more if you change your tactics: show the world how awesome and talented Martin is.
